Rhonda is the sole owner of Advanced Physiotherapy. She graduated from Queen’s University School of Rehabilitation in 1987 with her BSc in Physical Therapy.
For the first 10 years Rhonda worked in private practice, in orthopaedic settings in Halifax and the Ottawa area. In 1997 she then opened Advanced Physiotherapy with a desire to provide services and connect with the Barrhaven community in which she lives.
Rhonda has dedicated many hours to expanding her clinical skills through courses in manual therapy, acupuncture, dry needling, McKenzie credentials in mechanical back and neck treatment, myofascial release… along with numerous other courses and symposiums. Having worked for many sports teams and individual athletes including water-polo, soccer, hockey, gymnastics she has enjoyed the challenge of keeping elite athletes ‘on the field’ through prevention and treatment. The other area of personal interest has been treating neck and back injuries for clients of all ages.
Rhonda enjoys working with her staff to provide the best possible care to all our clients.

Tara Page & Nada Dekleva
The first people to greet you at Advanced Physiotherapy are either Tara or Nada. They have been an integral part of Advanced Physiotherapy since 2007, in administrative roles.
Both of these ladies are here to help you with all non-treatment related tasks. Booking appointments, addressing insurance related issues, processing your e-claims, ensuring the clinic runs smoothly… are among the many and varied tasks they perform. Tara and Nada work hard “behind the scenes” in order to ensure each client has the best possible experience at our clinic. They provide great support to our physiotherapists, allowing the physiotherapist to focus on the treatment aspect of the clients visit.
